Delete Your Trace Account & Data

This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your Trace account and all associated data. Trace is a personal capture app developed by MindJig LLC.

Your data stays with you

Your Trace journal, entries, and saved places stay with you for as long as you keep your account. We never delete your data on our own.

How to Request Deletion

Email us from the address on your account and ask to delete your account.

What Gets Deleted

When we process your request, we permanently delete:

• Your account and login
• All journal entries
• Streams / channels
• Attachments and photos
• Saved places / locations (location data)
• Profile and settings

What's Retained, and Why

We may keep limited records required for legal, tax, or billing obligations (e.g. subscription/payment records held by Google Play or our payment processor).

Timeline

Your account and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
